I don’t get it… I was dominating Steve on the court, just absolutely humiliating him like I do every Saturday. Breaking ankles, draining shots, talking relentless smack.
Then we took a break, and I figured I’d try a sip of that fancy new sports drink he brought. Tasted weirdly good. Kinda fruity. Kinda... tingly.
Now we’re back in the game and everything feels off. My balance is all wrong, my shot feels weak, and my shorts are riding up in ways they never used to. I just bricked a free throw so bad it didn’t even hit the rim!
And Steve... did he always look like that? All of a sudden, seeing those big, strong arms glistening with sweat makes me feel all weird inside. He keeps smirking at me like he knows he’s already won. I used to wipe the floor with that guy, and now he’s the one talking trash.
And the worst part? I can’t stop blushing every time he calls me “princess!”
