You are hereby ordered to report to the Feminization Station.

His hands trembled as he read the letter over and over again, praying it was a mistake. Did they really expect him to start his life over as a woman? No, he couldn't do it. He wouldn't do it!

But everything changed when he stepped into the humming chamber of the Feminator and felt the warm, electric tingle wash over him. The sensation sank into his bones, and with it came a strange weightlessness, a blissful contentment like nothing he’d never known.

In a trance he drifted to the Reorientation Room and took his seat among dozens of young women with dazed, pretty smiles. Had they all really been men, mere moments ago? From somewhere overhead he heard a sweet, lilting voice: “You will all be good little wives and mothers... you will all love your husbands and bear them many healthy children...”

His heart fluttered and he hugged his stomach, imagining it round and heavy with growing life. His husband’s baby. The thought made him smile.

A voice at the back of his mind told him he had to resist these feelings, that it was all wrong, that he was a man. But that voice was just an echo, a ghost. If he ignored it, it would probably go away in time.

She was a woman now... a woman ready to begin her new life.
