New update coming next week!

Hi everyone,

I've been working hard on the next update of the game that will be released next week. A Prince's Tale version 0.3.0 will have a heap of new content and a bunch of new systems that will make things much easier for me in the future. I've bit off somewhat more than I could chew with that last part, I had meant to release this big update today but in all my code refactoring I have introduced too many bugs for me to fix right now. I should be able get everything working right early next week.

Let me give you a quick sneak-peak at the awesome new stuff waiting for you in the next update. First of all, we've got a super cute new dinner date together with Rosa, and you will now finally be able to go on the mysterious excursion into town together with Kathryn, our favorite bully. I've also made an entire new map specifically for the cozy tavern!

Besides that, I've also rewritten some old Morgana scenes. Since the main potion scene only had the options to be coaxed into drinking it or forcing her to drink it, I added a third option to simply decline instead. Morgana will admit she was a bit forceful and choosing this option won't impact the story otherwise. I also changed the ointment scenes at the start of the game, you now have the option to choose the effect of the salve where it either increases femininity or increases masculinity instead. This choice can be changed in the future once you unlock Morgana's potion store. The ointment was the only part of the game where you are forced to go for gender changing, so with this change the feminization aspect of the game is now entirely optional.

Now, to quickly rip the band-aid off: this next update will mean that your current saves are no longer compatible. This is because I've rewritten a significant part of the old code and making that backwards compatible would take far too much effort. I've already had to spend more and more time making old saves compatible with every update lately so doing this reset does mean it saves me a lot of time now and in the future. To help with this change, I have added a better skip-ahead system, allowing you to skip all the way to the tavern part of the story.

Hopefully I won't have to do this again in the future but now that I've implemented most of the new systems I wanted I doubt it'll be necessary again anytime soon.  The full patch notes will be coming with the update next week.
