Episode 8 Release

Hello!!!

You know what time it is! Episode 8 is finally here!

First, let me give you some updates...

1. I decided to let go of our new artist because I can no longer pay for him... Maybe I'll ask him to join back in the future once we got more subscribers. His last arts in this episode will be a couple remake scenes.

2. I'm back on drawing almost everything myself in this episode, so expect some style changes. Not only that, I'm also moving from photoshop to clip studio, and I think it improved my art style a little bit. There will be some inconsistencies because I'm still trying out different art styles, and I apologize in advance. You can literally see me improving with each images tho... (I think).... I also changed the animation software again. This one is way better than Unity, you have to check them out!

3. Just like what I said on the first point, our artist will be drawing some remake scenes before he leave. Unfortunately, he's been admitted to hospital before he can finish everything, so one scene will remain in flat color for now. I've been getting a couple of requests to re-draw old scenes, so I think I'll do it slowly with each episodes.

4. I've been stuck out of town these 2 months with only a broken laptop and a cheap android tablet, that's why I haven't been very active online and I apologize. Not only that, this laptop keep pressing random buttons by itself, that's why I can't really write stuff. (See GIF. I'm writing this from my phone btw). The reason I'm telling you this is because the expressions codes isn't finished. I gave it to one of our discord members to do, but he said there'll be a slight delay. Hopefully I can finish everything on public release next week.

5. Because this episode is Lucy's POV, there are some differences:

• Sub-routes not existed, because James' reactions are not needed yet.

• Less gallery items but more sequences & animations.

• Easier to write. Again, because James' reactions/responses are not needed.

• Harder and longer to draw. Because we follow Lucy, I can't skip on small things and just show the ending like usual. For example, if she eat banana, I will need to draw her grabbing the banana, peeling it, then eat it, instead of just skipping everything and show the banana already halfway eaten.

• Because this is the first time I'm doing Lucy POV, I can't write that much yet, otherwise I might risk longer development times from all the drawings I have to do.

6. I'm writing for an upcoming game by another developer, stay tuned. (It's a 3D game tho)

Well, I guess that's it for my life's update... Now here's the changelog:

• 3 redrawn images. Gym intro, Ron's first massage scene (unfinished), Ron's first good ending (No more AI slop)

• 15 gallery items (2 from Gerrard's route from episode 7+)

• 5 new animations (2 from Gerrard's route from episode 7+, one is frame by frame animation)

• Lots of new sequences.

• New Character (Grandpa)

• 2 endings

• 1 new splash screen (Exploring Lucy's past again.)

Unfinished:

• Expressions

• Intro text wall translations

• Splash screen gallery
