Legend of Doom available via QuestZDoom Launcher

DeTwelve's Legend of Doom mod, a faithful reconstruction of Hyrule in GZDoom is playable via QuestZDoom. Here's the install instructions to get up and running (no PC Required!)

Legend of Doom Instructions:

Note this downloads a VR enhanced version with working dual wielding

1) Install QuestZDoom from SideQuest if you don't have it already (this will also install the QuestZDoom Launcher).
2) Open the QuestZDoom Launcher from Unknown Sources. If you don't have FreeDoom already, On the far left column click "Download Core Games" and download FreeDoom. Close this download window when complete.
3) Go to "Download Map Packs / TC" (Second column) and scroll right to the bottom and download Legend of Doom. Close this download window when complete.
4) Select FreeDoom 2 and the Legend of Doom mod and Click "Go To Hell" to Launch.

Recommended Settings:
1) 1.0 SS (via the Launcher)
2) Force 60hz mode off (via the Launcher)
3) Refresh Rate: 72hz (Via Options -> QuestZDoom Quick Menu In-Game)
4) Skydome on (Via Options -> QuestZDoom Quick Menu In-Game)

Yeah, I think any of the doom cores should be fine. Probably even doom 1 / freedoom 1. Doom 2 is the best base overall to use, as Freedoom 2 gives issues with some monsters with other mods. But obviously requires manually moving over your WAD, which is why we didn't recommend it in this instance (and since LoD runs fine with FreeDoom)

That is huge. I played it a few months ago in gzdoomvr on pc and it was one of the best vr experiences i’ve had

Thank you for the heads up. I accidentally started it up with the Doom II Core game. and seemed to work fine.
