[FULL REACTION] Black Hawk Down (2001)

Thank you so much for your support here on Patreon! πŸ’•

You'll need to sync up your own copy of the episode in order to watch along with me. Open 2 windows, one with the reaction and one with the video, then arrange them how you see fit!

Watched on through norwegian streaming service. Sometimes it runs faster and to make it synced try to set the video to 0.95 speed. If it runs slower, set the video to 1.05 speed. Hope it helps! πŸ’•

[FULL REACTION] Black Hawk Down (2001)

The real Marcus Luttrell appeared for a cameo in "Lone Survivor", which she watched last year. He is comparable in height and build to the actors playing the other SEALs (Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitcsh, Ben Foster, Eric Bana, etc)

Excellent movie reaction! I like that the movie did not depict actors with exaggerated body types like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena as Rangers and Delta. The other day, I saw a FB post on an article about U.S. Special Forces like Rangers, SEALs, Delta Force, etc., criticizing movie always showing them as huge muscular men. Not true according to their research. Special Force graduates average between 5’9”-6’0” (176-182cm) and 178-196lbs (81-89kg). I also find it interesting that many Olympic Decathlon gold medalists share this body type range like Markus Rooth (Norway), Damian Warner (Canada), Bryan Clay (USA), & Daley Thompson (Great Britain).

I liked your reaction. Hard movie. You made it through. Does have a stacked cast. I remember when this event occurred. The old man carrying the child near the end of the movie is a striking scene. That was such a contrast when they made it back into friendly territory near the end. By the way, no sync issues with Amazon in US. Three Vietnam War movies on the AFI Top 100 that I suggest: --"Apocalypse Now" (1979) --"Platoon" (1986) --"The Deer Hunter" (1978) A Vietnam War movie that reactions seem to get a lot of YouTube views and that I suggest is: --"Full Metal Jacket" (1987) [Stanley Kubrick]

This is such a good movie. Great reaction, Kamilla, as always! I remember when this movie first came out, I was already enlisted in the military and 9/11 had just happened a few months before. I got word that we would be shipping out to the Middle East soon. This was the last movie I saw before leaving. It was my first time watching it again since then. Anyway, a few other good war movies to add to your list: - Windtalkers (2002) - The Great Raid (2005) - Enemy at the Gate (2001)
