Grisha gave Eren the Founding Titan because he didnt know Carla was dead. After he learned she was gone, he knew the warriors were the ones responsible, he then told young Eren in Season 1, "you must avenge your mother". He wanted Eren to destroy Marley and the World.

2024-12-11 20:22:12 +0000 UTCYep, every episode just gets better and better, and better than the last. It's true that Ymir or Titan power wielders can't die from a single spear to the heart. Ymir chose to save Fritz, she chose to die too I think, maybe going for that long doing as much for that evil and vile man took its final toll on her heart, mind and soul, and I think she wanted it to end. The flower and its symbolism is the last thing she sees before the end of all mortal. But then she goes on to an eternal afterlife as a slave creating Titans that take her years to sculpt from the earth, while in our world it is an instant. The Titan's primal drive to cannibalize and devour turns out to be an innate directive and purpose as ordered by that piece of garbage Fritz. Ymir has been in hell forever, and Eren saved her from that.
