Bunsen and Fink - Now in technicolor!
Added 2025-05-07 14:30:04 +0000 UTCPutting a new workflow into full swing for my 2D animation work! Previously my workflow revolved around using individual layers as frames within clipstudio, which worked fine for the mostpart, but it meant that color had to be animated separately, which lead to a lot of messy visuals that I struggled to keep consistent. Its this reason why I avoided it in previous 2D animation work, outside of super short loops.
However, this new workflow makes use of folders as frames. This essentially means each frame contains a bunch of subfolders that contain the linework and color in one big group I can copy and paste, which allows me to reuse the drawings AND the coloring! Tons of time saved, and it looks fantastic!
Its with this approach that I will proceed with this commissioned project, which should yield some pretty stunning results!
