for those who haven't been helping us to brainstorm on our discord server, Reflecting pool tfs are going to be the central focus of update 0.18! Rather than focusing on the cast of characters, the reflecting pools will allow players to turn their influence to the world as a whole, and transform society itself! effecting each court at a time, these societal transformations can do some of the following: transform the general population in some way, change societal perceptions and norms, adjust culture to your whims, etc!
although societal tfs aren't guaranteed to directly impact the cast, if the cast member is particularly susceptible to public perception, they may have at some point in their history opted into the new way of things. in these cases, the characters may go through new TFs!
some of these changes will not have visuals (for example, changing the draconoclastes to a patrilineal society wont have a visual change on the population), but the other transformations (such as changing the global gender distribution) will be able to transform the populace! rather than invent more characters to fit this, we figured it'd be better to make these into YCH sequences! of course, we cant do all the categories at once, so we would like your help to try and narrow the choices down to two! which of the following options would you like to see illustrated first?
(also! this is your chance to save up if you want a slot! these ones wont be auctions, and there will be a good number of slots too, so no worries about being beat out :3 )

Not gonna lie, when I hear "reflecting pool" I also imagine the perfect opportunity for more twinning tfs for harem shenanigans.

2024-11-05 17:39:22 +0000 UTCoh sure! poodalists include all canines, so dogs, wolves, etc. weve also put foxes into this box, but hyenas are not included. oleogarchs include all felines, lions, housecats, panthers, etc and then draconoclasts include all real world reptiles and fantasy dragon breeds, so everything from alligators to wyverns. we also introduced a Koi character to this faction, based on the myth of them becoming dragons.
