2 Years to be thankful.
Added 2024-06-03 15:34:38 +0000 UTCToday marks the second anniversary of when my wife was able to quit her job, and remain home with our kids. 2 years ago today she turned in her computer and badge. We were both terrified, to be honest. I had set a goal a year before to get comfortable enough as a 3d artist to depend on the support given to me through Patreon, Commissions and comic sales.
This morning I had planned to write up something more general and wholesome as to how my love for size art literally led to support for my family. I wanted to talk about how blessed I feel to make art that I enjoy, and get to share with you all, and how much I cannot stop appreciating the feeling of doing something I love while also supporting my family.
This morning however ended up being a lot in the air, where my son woke up needing to head into the ER for some abdominal pain. My wife is at the hospital with him right now getting him tested out. I sat in the ER with them both being so thankful my wife and I weren’t both more concerned with getting out the door to the office, and were able to focus on our boys.
So with that, I just want to say thank you for your support, know that I look to earn it every time I schedule a post, and hope you continue to enjoy the content I put out.
