Less:
You know what we truly need? Goblin girls. Lots of goblin girls.
So we decided to concept what they could look like.

Less added some details to Dala’s tattoo to finalize it for being used:

PMPerfect:
Hello gamers!
Firstly, for this update, here is a plan of initial interactions in the first minutes of a game after cinematic. We checked how does it feels pace wise and if we are missing something, in the process we came to realisation that our world is a lot more dangerous that we anticipated in the beginning, even locations near “safe” Tavern area and Gateston are filled with monsters.

After that was a lot of refining details and tweaks based on feedback:
Here are some in-game screenshots

A friendly looking tavern transformed into a more fortified stronghold to hold off nonstopping assault of goblins.

But we also added some dynamic elements in game such as falling leaves in forest and glowing particles near torches to liven up the rare moments of peace.

Lastly, the part of the location before starting area is being reworked to fit the cinematic we want to have in the beginning, here is some screenshot of it along with a quick frame concept

That’s all from me for this update!
Wish you all a lovely weekend and cya all in the next one with more updates <3

Normals for the mask

This is how currently the goblins look in-game, PacKing is still working on adding some grunge to the goblins texture like dirt, skin folds, blemishes, veins

Merc:

Hard to make it look good without some shader logic so I give it a little once over to find some working textures.

I went with a simple shape and a more magical look. There are no suckers because it would deform strange and I didn't see any in the concept. They may need an extra subdivision to increase possibility, but I think that's up to the rigger.
I put the vertex on just to give it some life. Could be used on top of the bone animation as well, but this give makes it look like a tentacle for preview.

The material setup

Also I gave her the connective breast tissue where the breasts join because I find that really physically interesting and it goes well with her breast size. I was in the lab

Bear:
Bear has been working on new goblin scenes for the outskirts since we are:
