One Piece Opening 3-13 REACTION!

Your reaction was SUUUUUUPER!!!!! 😍 About Opening 7 and Opening 11, i guess other Patreons already told you (these reactions are already made a while ago and i found them a few days ago the first time) but you weren't mistaken, Opening 7 is just Opening 1 "We Are" but with the Straw Hats Voice Actors singing because of 5 Years anniversary if i'm right. The same goes to Opening 11, it is a new Version of "We Are" with a different Band because of the 10th anniversary i remember. Til now there is no OP Opening that i DON'T like and i have it with you that they are getting better and better and you cannot decide which one is the best, but "We Are" will always be a special Opening in One Piece, it is the very first one and they choose it to be like a One Piece Main Theme Song and bring it in as a "new" Opening once in a while. There is also an OST Soundtrack called "We did it, Party!" which is an instrumental Version of it, it's my favorite Soundtrack in One Piece and "We Are" is that Opening i will always connect to One Piece and love the most! ❤️

Also they were all in the right order, don't worry about it! (Hope you noticed 10 was a remake of the exact same song "We Are" from opening 1 and 7, they weren't just adding the same phrase, it was the same song)

Supermechafrieza, I don't know if someone told you but that opening "We Are" was in fact opening 7. It was a special made for fans sung by the voice actors of the crew themselves so you missed nothing ;)

It’s too bad you didn’t watch versions with the english lyrics/subtitles. A lot of them are much more impactful/meaningful knowing what the song is about. In particular I really wished you watched the last one 13 with subs

hey, opening 12 with all the random scenery are all fan requested colored cover pages of the manga, thats why they are so random, its nice to see them animated and especially for anime only watchers

What you thought was opening 1 again was an anniversary and all the Strawhats sing it. The original is sung by the artist. Listen ton it again and you can hear each individual Strawhat's voice actor singing.

It's basically the theme song for the pre-time skip one piece. Everytime there's a special episode, or event (whether in the story, or in real life), it'll usually get used. For example, it was used at the end of 516 to celebrate them reaching the timeskip, and the 10th opening was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime. Don't think it's been used in the anime since 516 though, which is why I don't consider it the theme of one piece as a whole.

They reuse the song from the fist opening several times. Not sure if it's an anniversary thing or not, but they always change it a little.

I personally love Opening 13 (One Day) and think it's so much better if you know the lyrics, since they really just work with the animations and the arc imo. Though maybe you speak french and got the full experience anyway? That wasn't the first opening that was the Straw Hats singing the first opening.

It just not Strawhat but most of the one piece characters. I think they ask most of the popular characters to sing for them like Garp, Doflamingo, etc.

Check out the dubbed openings funimation did before they weren’t allowed to anymore. I think the first 4 or 5 songs were dubbed.

Funny.. some of you guys are saying the exact thing I was saying long ago regarding openings that without context watching the openings flash by is only like a teaser and wouldn't really matter much in spoilage lol... not like she would be watching the opening on every episode anyways. Once per new one would suffice but its ok if she wants to skip em. I only alluded to that cuz she did say before she began the journey that she wanted to watch One Piece like when it first aired. 😅😅

All the openings are in order, and yes, Crazy Rainbow Star does occur during the CP9 arc right up until the end of Water 7. I believe they had a deal with a well known pop duo to do the song, and even in one episode, they appear along with the Strawhats in the opening itself. Tackey &amp; Tsubasa is the group.

Lol at one point I thought you said you like the songs right after Jejung sings lol. You mentioned Share the World sounded like a boy band song. They are a boyband! They are called TVXQ. They sang the third version of We Are and Share the World. You also need to see their ending song called Kanarazu Asu Wa Kuru Kara (Tomorrow Will Definitely Come) with english subs! This is why TVXQ is still the top Korean boyband in Japan for me coz like who else gets to sing 3 songs for One Piece! The members are all fans of the manga as well and leader Yunho once said that One Piece is life. Hahaha

ooo I loved this one smf once piece openings are so much fun so random fact to make the random scenes make more sense in a few of the videos. Oda usually draws weird scenes around a theme at the start of the manga panels so alot of the "random scenes" are done in the style of those panels, especially in the song around 25:45 minutes. zoro and robin playing a game with a dog, chopper leading a choir. all of them on a train. he also sometimes gives updates on other parts of the world as well that will never make it on to the anime such as enel on the moon (seriously hes on the moon! and theres robots and its not a spoiler because it happened ages ago in the story and has never been brought up again) vivi shows up from time to time in them too. they are kinda fun.

Like bLuGhOsT I think openings should be watched as they air. It only appears like they spoil a lot in retrospect when we know the context of the scenes shown, take the Luffy/Usopp fight for example, it shows them fighting at some point for some reason, but why? Is it something serious, is it over a misunderstanding that can be resolved, is the fight even real or staged to fool an enemy? None of that is known without context. I look at those scenes as teasers instead of actual spoilers and they are supposed to be seen, the anime staff puts all of those scenes there intentionally. At a base level everything's a spoiler, how do you even describe One Piece without spoiling some stuff? "It's a long running shounen series about a guy who wants to be king of the pirates", everyone familiar with the term shounen now knows it probably features a young, naive and good hearted guy who meets friends and will fight villains while having adventures and it's about pirates, technically they were just spoiled but that's inevitable. I understand not wanting to know major plot twists but the fear of spoilers should never stop us from watching media as it was intended to be seen, in this case with the openings.

Speaking from big "watch the OPs as they air" kind of guy, how do you think you would have reacted if you did watch these intros without already knowing the context to them? I strongly believe that in the case of many one piece openings if you don't already know what's going to happen that it only builds the anticipation. Would you really potentially watch them blind and be like "yep I know exactly what's going to happen!!"

Funny fact. The Enies Lobby OP was what got me into watching OP back in high school. Was looking for good J-Pop, and thought watching anime OP's would be a good start. Saw this in a top 50 best anime OP list on YT. Then started watching this around sophomore year. After the current arc is finished with, Imma prolly stop watching OP's until the arc is done. You think spoilers are bad now in OP's, they get hella greedy with them later down the line
