2024-12-16 13:29:44 +0000 UTCI call these "Gintama-only" episodes. The kind of episodes where i just canโt quite figure out if the mangaka just went on a hot springs trip and phoned it in, or if mangaka actually put his creativity to work and create a unique 4th wall breaking scenario with a twist. Sure, the episode was unique, fun, and even had a bit of philosophy in it, but I just want to know are these episodes the result of a spark of genius, or just laziness :)
