This is based on the idea that creatures in Equestria are not all pony sized, some, like Gilda, can be much larger in scale. Dash probably needs to watch her flight paths, ha.

Good question. I imagine in equestria it be like one of the japan games, where the land is on a back of a floating creature. So perhaps an actual continent is one creature.
