Upcoming Updates +Question?

Just wanted to let Everyone know I have been very busy, maybe too busy. Either way, I have been updating and Overhauling all my older content.

Updates to Come:

I am still looking into remaking Sub/Dom as well as other traits. However the last one, Pregnancy Glow, really wore me out and I'd like to take some time to just play the game and work on less taxing things. I need Oliver time.

As a Side Note:

What is Your View on Mood and Moodlets in the Sims 4?

I, as a storyteller, see Moodlets as things my sim has on their mind and the main mood they're in as just what they're focused on at the time being. If my sim has little to no Moodlet's I tend to worry about their well being. Yes, that means in my game Oliver tends to have a moodlet bar that crosses the entire screen. But I began to wonder what others saw Moodlets and their Sim's Mood as. So if you'd like to share your thoughts on the matter please do in the comments below. 😀🎉

Thanks 💜

Update [August 27, 2020]: Uploaded a few things I've been holding onto.

Comments

Seems to be the general consensus. Good to see, truly! Moodlets are our Sims thoughts. 👍 💜

YourFalseHope

Hopefully, I got them all (If you have the ones from the other post). If you notice anything that has a live-drag on that you find annoying, please let me know. I absolutely hate that they slapped that crap on the most random of objects due to Uni & Dorms.

Oh boy. Finally! No more random rugs in inventories... I LIKE!

I personally love moodlets because they tell me what my sim is thinking and flesh out their character their experiences and the experiences of those around them. I really feel like they help explain why they are happy, sad, etc and tend to feel the more the merrier. Moodlets also give me more ideas for potential storylines to pursue and take off some of the weight of coming up with everything on my own.

Yup pausing helps a bunch when you really want or need to know whats going on. 👍 I agree again, it gives the sim so much more personality and life. 💜 For example, my sim almost miscarried his pregnancy tonight but is now overjoyed and focused on good health for the new few days and hopefully even further. So Many great storytelling devices out there in the community!

I think moodlets add a lot of variety to the game and transform sims from basic entities into actual characters. Moodlets make them feel more human and I definitely see them as thoughts in the sims' brains. If they stretch too far where I can't read them all at once, I just pause and click to see what they all say :)

Thanks, 💙 I'm glad you enjoy them! Yea, I can see where that would be problematic. It's neat to see others see it similar to me as well.

Take your time to relax and enjoy life/gaming a bit. There is enough in this world to worry about. I appreciate the depth your mods add to gameplay and your hard-work shows. I really enjoy moodlets and like you, see moodlets as thoughts in my sims’ brains. That said, I don’t always appreciate when they stretch across the screen because I end up missing over half of them. Best!

This is why I want to go back and add moodlets to my older stuff that doesn't have it. It adds so many more opportunities for the story of your Sim's lives. Thank you for the reply 💙

YourFalseHope

I play with headline effects turned off, so moodlets mean A TON to me. A and É tend to have moodlets that stretch across the entire screen too. If they don't have that many moodlets, I also worry about their well-being.
