I wanted to film an intro to comment on my reaction to this but didn't want to delay the upload any longer, so I decided to leave a comment here instead.

So a few caveats to this one! (spoilers ahead)

I had never heard of this film until it was recommended and as per usual, I went in blind. MOST of the time, that works in my favour. But sometiiiimmmes, it doesn't lol. In this case, I was confused for a big part of the film. There was a lot lost on me from cultural differences, motives and humour. I figured out it was satire but honestly, I was still lost in the sauce 😂 It's a specific kind of movie where it's important to know what you're signing up for so you're in on the joke.

The funny thing is, I've watched it now like 3 times since my reaction and I laugh more and more with each viewing. This movie is FUNNY. When reviewing the edit, I'm laughing really hard in front of the computer but then I look at my filmed reaction and I can see I'm just not getting it in the moment 🙈 (sorry)

SO! All that to say, I actually appreciate the movie a lot more today than I did in my reaction, so please don't come for me for missing a lot of the jokes in the moment 😄
