I’ll say this… you’re putting the puzzle together now with what you know or at least think you know about Elliot. and Mr Robot, look at the interactions from Darlene’s perspective. It’ll become much more clear in time. But there’s reasons for her to behave the way she does.

Her father was Frank Doubleday, a smaller actor who appeared in a handful of John Carpenter films and TV shows in the 80s but then he got married to Christina Hart, a TV actress and they had Portia and retired from acting to raise her and her brother.
