One of my long-time goals for Finding Buddies has been to integrate fabric simulation for character clothing. Not only does this add realism, but it’s also a significant time-saver compared to my previous animation methods. Before, I animated clothing folds manually using shape keys, sculpting each frame to create the look of fabric movement, which was very time-intensive.
To achieve this, I’m using Marvelous Designer, a tool I’ve worked with in the past. I had to brush up on it, but it's already paying off in terms of efficiency and quality.
