The March Upate

Compendium Starts!

I have compelled all the content into a compendium for your convenience. This does not currently include Warlord/Artificer. I think those might eventually be integrated, but I think there might be less need for that, as they are mostly self-contained things.

This compendium will not update every time I update anything, but will update once a month. If you'd like to see the Warlord and Artificer added (and eventually Psion) for future versions, you can let me know if that would be useful, or if they are more useful as stand alone expansions on their own. This will slowly become more and more book like in time, with a table of contents, better formatting, etc. One step at a time!

March Rewards!

If you are at a reward tier among the nobility, send me your idea! The time for new content is neigh. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, and certainly, lets make this a collaborative process. I am still a Patreon noob when it comes to D&D content and this sort of format, so bear with me as I figure things out.

Patreon Ideas

Do you have ideas for the Patreon? Feel free to speak up! I am very much just figuring stuff out and flailing about here, so - just like the iterative process that has served me so well my content - if you have ways to help me improve, I'm all ears!

I will try to think of some new ideas for rewards, goals, etc. I don't know if it will be applicable, but I am a hobbyist of doodling as well (the full version of my profile pic can be seen here; it's just random PCs from my games I drew for them), so maybe I could add a reward tier for character art or something sort of silly like that. Not sure yet! I am not a professional artist or anything, but people do like to see their D&D characters in my experience. Still throwing ideas around.

But What Is KibblesTasty actually doing??

My main focus right now is Warlord v1.2, which should be out soon. Psion has started, and I expect some concepts/ideas to be in front of you before too long, but not going to commit to the v1.0 release for that yet. Lot of ideas to parse through. You will probably see something before the v1.0 to sound off on if you think I'm going to right direction or not. I will probably start with 3 subclasses, but still fiddling.

The Artificer is almost certainly continuing life, as the vote has been overwhelmingly to keep it going. This means that 1.7 has started, and I'm starting to eye what a 2.0 would be.

What Do You Dream About When You Dream About Artificer 2.0's?

Artificer 2.0 may or may not have big changes. But it's the time I want to make sure I stop an re-examine something I always expected to be niche and temporary to see if there places where I have marched bolding when I should have Perception checked.

Let me know any thoughts you have, no matter how big or small, about what you think you'd like to see in an Artificer 2.0

One thing on the table that I don't think will apply here much is the idea of a Quick Build Artificer, with preselected Upgrades or just a few choices - if you see me talking about this... don't panic! This isn't a replacement of the existing one, but an idea to make it more presentable to people intimidated by options. I think this might exist along side the normal Artificer at some point, but right now it's just an idea.

That said, that doesn't mean I'm not considering how to streamline the upgrade process! I don't know if I will or not, but it's certainly on the table.

The Emotional Part Where I Appreciate all the Support and say Thanks!

Lastly... I really appreciate all the support! When I first made the Homebrew Artificer, it was just to bridge a gap, and had expected to hang up my Homebrewing cloak when the UA Artificer updated... here we are more than a year later, and things have gone completely the opposite direction. I hope that I can add something to all your D&D tables! There is nothing I  find a better use of time than making stuff people have fun with!

This patreon was started at the prodding of some people, and it's already wildly exceeded my expectations. It's really been an amazing start to a journey here, and I'm as curious as anyone to see where it goes!
