Kibbles Alternate Artificer v1.6.9

...yes, this is pretty much the 1.7 version and called as such, but I don't want to end up calling the 1.7 public version 1.7.1 because I had too update stuff... :)

1.7 Changes

Cannonsmith

Gadgetsmith

Golemsmith

Infusionsmith

Potionsmith

Warsmith

Expanded Toolbox will be updated to replace some of the stuff pulled out to this with some new playtest content and other community contributed ideas. If you want to see your custom upgrade in the Expanded Toolbox, last call to let me know the cool things you've been doing with the Artificer :) (for this version, anyway).

It was a sort error, it should be updated in the GMBinder version to be there again; the PDF version was just update now, so they should both have it again. Let me know if you still don't see it!

Hey Kibbles, I've been enjoying playing your Gadgetsmith, and I was reviewing the updates from 1.7 and noticed that the enhanced grappling hook upgrade is no longer present. Has this been moved to the expanded toolkit, or did you decide to drop it as an available upgrade altogether?

Both are solid ideas. I think they are both good candidates for Upgrades. I am a little cautious when it comes to taking other classes signature features, but really, the Champion is not really widely used, and you can get that by multiclassing anyway - and the Hexblade already stole, and it used to be a much more widely used feature in previous additions, so I think's solid ground. Edit: arg - accdiantly posted the comment too early... I hate this "enter is post" input format.... Anyway... appreciate the comment and ideas! Thanks! :)

Hey looking great so far! Just a few ideas for expanded toolbox for testing, in one game I play, my gadget Smith at 9th level has an incendiary grenade, it's just fireball on sr. And at 11th level For my warsmith, I can get a targeting upgrade, which makes me roll crit die on either 19 or 20, but only a 20 is a true crit as in it always hits. Lemme know what you think of those upgrades!
