If there's a Circle of the Moon, it seems only sensible there should be a Circle of the Sun. Based on patreon request we bring a little more fire and radiance to the druid line up. I had a few design goals in mind here.
* While I think it makes sense to have a dualism in a Circle of the Sun of burning away and than helping new growth, the base Druid class already has a ton of healing and plant magic, so the subclass features don't have to represent that aspect heavily.
* It's ability to make sunlight really fucks over a few kinds of enemies. This is a pretty niche thing though, and is nerfed when it'd be the strongest (spending too much time in the underdark? your ability might be stronger, but your light starts to dwindle...). If a Vampire should fear anything though, it'd be a cleanse with fire radiance zealot of the sun.
* I always want to use Wildshape, and in this case I wanted to use the resource to give a whole lifecycle of benefits - on use, during effect, and at the end. Because it does so much, the duration effect is a little toned down, and the ending effect is primarily fueled by spell slots.
* Sunbeam is obvious spell, but Druids already get it, and it's out of the range circle spells.
* I wanted to play bring up some otherwise maybe not as heavily used spells in the level 6. I like Flame Blade, but it's terrible, and create bonfire here is pretty good, but not as crazy as it might seem.
* Cleansing Fire helps anchor them as more than just a pyromaniac.
* I wanted to have some sort of phoenix based theme in there; sun, fire, life... it's a natural fit, and while having an always on 6th level spell is a ridiculous, Investitures are not great spells.
This one is still in playtesting, but feel free to let me know any thoughts of feedback.
