Woodworking and Updates!

Hey folks; as promised, wood working is here. It is not perfect, but wanted to get the system in.

I've also refactored Leatherworking a bit to differentiate between rawhide, tanned, and boiled leather, and largely made the process of converting hide somewhat more difficult; it's a bit inconvenient, but I think makes a bit more sense (after all, you cannot make armor out of ore either). Converting hides to raw hide or boiled/tanned leather might be something you delegate out to an NPC, but can do yourself if you have a bit of time (its still faster than "realistic", but a little more balanced).

...I also spent quite a lot of time looking into how leather is actually made. The strange things I do for D&D.

I've also starting bringing in the DMG poisons; originally I thought those were not SRD, but they are, so I will directly port all of those.

I added a few more magic items as well.

The next update will be the materials update, bringing together all the material section into a comprehensive guide for gathering, salving, harvesting, etc. Should be quite a bit easier to use.

Target for that is end of next week, but we'll see a few things between now and then. Next up (tomorrow) will be a subclass or two for the book :)

In Other news while I have you here:

Hope everyone has been having great games, and let me know if you have any questions!

Woodworking and Updates!

Don't have a great answer for you yet, to be honest. Let me give this some thought. I haven't actually done much crafting with magical ammunition yet, but it's on my to-do list. I'll try to include some ideas for this in the next version of crafting (should be this coming week).

what would you say a good dc for crafting +3 ammunition would be? i was thinking dc 35 for a baseline and then being made easier based on materials and quality of the workshop

Marc Wilebski

Ah, no, not yet. I need to add that; should be included in the next version.

I like the woodworking rules, but I haven't noticed if it's spelled out what the statistics are for a composite longbow. Is it somewhere else in the document?
