Hey folks at the $3+ tiers. One of the perks for this tier is the Casting Compendium, which just the collection of all the spells I've made elsehwere, all collected into this single document.
I don't make a new post every time I update it, but its been awhile since I've posted and some folks mentioned it was hard to find, so I want to both send it out again, and give it a better tag.
Since last time it has gotten:
The spells are revised from the versions posted in those individual docs based on feedback and playtesting (and with various minor tweaks). The only spell not coming in from Kibbles' Generic Spells is Acid Rain, as that needs a bit more time in the shop I think.
Being added to the Compendium isn't the end of the line for spells - I will continue to do tweaks and updates as I get testing feedback, but everything here has been at least tested and sent out to the world for feedback and review :)
Personally I'm a fan of a lot of spells - it makes a world feel deep and complex, but of course can be overwhelming to newer groups. I'd recommend only deploying all the spells in bulk for veteran groups, and otherwise perhaps just seeding one or two interesting ones or borrowing from the for a specific idea your player wants to play here or there for newer groups that aren't chomping at the bit for a massive spell list yet :D
The Generic spells will be maintained in both documents for the time being.
As a rough schedule of what is in my queue for "soon":
I think that's all that's scheduled for "could be any time now". There's a few patreon request things I'm working on, but those will probably not see general release quite yet. There's obviously a lot more
Just wanted to send this out by way of update, and also to make the casting compendium up to date and easier to find.
I am working on some patreon organization stuff - a helpful fellow over on the Discord gave me some tips and I will be implementing featured tags to make finding some of the things easier.
As always, feel free to reach out and chat if you have any thoughts, questions, or ramblings you'd like to share me :)
