Updates! Foundry Module for Kibbles' Generic Spells; Elemental Mind Revamp; and crafting updates (and survey)!

Hi folks-

It's late, but wanted to get an update out to start the month off!

First Foundry VTT Module: Kibbles' Generic Spells

First, I wanted to share a neat little side project that might help out some of you: I've ported my Kibbles' Generic Spells document to Foundry VTT, and here's how you can get it:

This will let you drag and drop all of the generic spells to the character sheet. They are set up with their spell templates, damage dice, spell descriptions, upcasting rules, etc. I don't want to promise too much here - this is sort of like a "tech demo" or "proof of concept" for me, I wanted to see how the system works and see if I could set this sort of thing up, but as a ton of folks have been using my Generic Spells (it's one of the most popular things I've released recently in terms of adoption) I thought it'd be a good thing to port over (...plus it's convenient for me to use them too :D )

I may port over my whole spell compendium, but don't want to promise a firm timeline on that. I will probably update this with the upcoming generic spells update (folks have asked for water and wind, so those are coming, plus maybe radiant and necrotic - still considering those last two). That'll also give me a proof of concept for updating it.

In the future, I'd expect more FoundryVTT integrations as part of patreon reward tiers and things. Other tabletops are a bit of a maybe right now. The compendium is still slated to come to Fantasy Grounds at least, so depending on how that goes we may see more there. I'm aware of Astral and Roll20, but I can only do so many things :D

Crafting Update!

Nothing huge this time around. Lot of little changes based on feedback and thoughts from the survey, but more to come. Probably the biggest change is clarifying some stuff around shields and bracers (they cannot qualify for armor modifications) and a change to buff bracers slightly but make them incompatible with shields (both changes to just ton down the stacking effects of things).

There will be a handful of rapid small changes to this over the next week which I won't post about every time, but I'll let you folks know when another branch is updated (Runecarving still needing its big update mostly).

Crafting Survey

The Survey went out to Kickstarter folks a bit ago, but there's many folks here with some thoughts with crafting system, so if you haven't filled it out from the Kickstarter side and would like to share your thoughts on the crafting system, here's the survey for it:

Elemental Mind

The bigger item in the near future is an update to both the Expanded Options for Psion and Expanded Toolbox for Artificer coming. We'll see the roll out of a few things over the next few days, but the first of those is a rework to Elemental Mind for Psion, bringing out a lot more of the turning into primordial forms theme as that's what drew a lot of folks to the idea. Had some recent playtests around this particular subclass, and it was a good a chance to optionally incorporate the generic elemental spells:

As always, feel free to let me know any thoughts. This is just standalone to share here, and will be incorporated into the Expanded Options with the update there.

Other

I think we'll see a small update probably Monday with more things from the Expanded Toolbox, and a bigger update Tuesday when the next stage of the survey goes out for the Compendium, but that may get pushed to later in the week (but I'll send it by Friday at the latest, and expect it to go out on Tuesday :)
