Crafting 0.4.5 - Incremental Progress, and your very own Google Sheets Version!

One of the things I've wanted to do ever since I ported the backend to Google Sheets is to turn that over to folks that wanted - some people prefer that format, and it makes it way easier if you want to make modifications or copy it into your own this or that.

This is not the upcoming "digital tool"; this is part of what will be used to make that, but this is just a spread sheet. I think you have to import this back to Google Sheets for it to work correctly in editing mode. As read only this should work, but here's what works best:

If you using Google, you should be able to use the sheet offline, but the formulas will probably not work (at least they didn't when I tested in excel). If there's a way to make that work, I'm not tech savvy enough for it.

So what's new here? A lot of clean up, roughly 50 new items you can craft, and some tweaks across the board. Nothing huge, mostly just getting it ready to send out some updates. I'll post a new version of standalone blacksmithing soon; and we'll get a few weeks of more focused updates (Blacksmithing -> Alchemy -> Enchanting as each of those move toward their more final states).

After more feedback, I'm going to include the materials with each branch of crafting as well as all together - folks just find that easier to have them in both spots in the PDF.

The loot tables have tweaked a little. In general, loot has gone upwards and will go a bit more upward (more stuff given out), particularly from harder monsters - I think I'm concerned with that flooding players as they get to higher levels, but those levels will have to go to the DM - ultimately the DM will always have to oversee loot to some extent, and these are just tools for what can drop if the DM needs some idea or reference, not what must drop :)

A lot of testing is going down. This is a huge system with a lot of moving parts.

I also added wagons. You can make a wagon now as an engineer. These are the important things Kibbles works on. Still working on boats. Boats are insanely expensive in 5e apparently, so now I have to figure out how I can justify their ridiculous cost, and that's going to take some thinking. And yes... there's a good chance we'll see airships in there... speaking of expensive :)

There is still a lot of updates coming - I was thinking they'd be in a quicker cadence this week, but currently it's incremental progress on all fronts.

I'm aiming to have an Expanded Toolbox update for the Inventor tomorrow (that's the last big piece before I send out a bit of a playtest packet for the Kickstarter, which is happening this month one or another :D )

I'm toying with some ideas here; it won't be a full thing, but I'm hoping for a short section or side bar at least, but don't have it fully in place yet.

Are we eventually going to get rules on brewing? One of my players is trying to brew rum and I'm stuck on how to approach it. Maybe a variant of cooking but using reagents and ingredients/supplies in conjunction? But then what about the insanely long time that it realistically takes? Do i ignore that? Anyway, just wanted to say that I am in love with this system, and am looking forward to adding it to my campaign.
