So this is not quite done, but I want to share the changes so far. This will include about half the upgrades currently slated for this update, and doesn't have an update for Runesmith. Some of the things folks are eager for like Warsmith (ever popular that one) aren't in yet. But there's a lot here, so I figure I should send this out; after all, this will let folks give feedback on the latest updates.
And there's a fair bit here; I will aim to introduce the second half of this update and the correpsonding update to the main Inventor doc later this week (probably Thursday or Friday), but not
Main Document 2.2.1 (Mostly just to sync with Expanded Toolbox):
Potionsmith
- Infused Potions can be spells with spell attacks. Become ranged weapon attacks (with the infused potion).
- Potionsmiths now gain proficiency in Instant Reactions used as weapons.
- Delivery Mechanism now allows you to use your Intelligence modifier for attack rolls with potions.
Warsmith
- Collapsible made an unrestricted upgraded.
- Faraday Helmet removed.
Spells
- Returning Weapon duration and range increase buffed.
- Seeking Projectile now grants advantage on the attack that consumes the enchanted shot.
Expanded Toolbox 2.2 (Part 1)
Cursesmith
- Curse Bearer surppresses effects until the start of their next turn when surpressing on going curses.
- Curse Eater can no longer be used on other sources of temporary hit points, but is increased to 1d4 + # of curses (instead of 1 + # curses) when restoring hit points.
- Eldritch becomes a ranged spell attack (rather than melee or ranged).
- Helm of Fangs removed.
- Eldritch Lore removed.
- Helm of Omniscience added.
- Amulet of Exiling simplified and lowered to 9th level upgrade.
- Added Soul Ring
- Whispers of the Night buffed and simplified and moved to Unrestricted upgrades.
- Eldritch Magic added
- Eldritch Blade Added
- Skeletal Gauntlets properly add a curse.
- Undying Creature Added
- Pandemic of Depsair Added
- Curse Numbness Added
- Vampiric Infusion Added
- Form of the Fiend Added
Relicsmith
- Added
- Everyone seemed to think Judgment should be an effect that worked with 2 handed weapons. Reworked into a more general version of Great Weapon Fighting (works with any weapon), but most effective with two handed weapons.
- Martial weapon proficiency added to the subclass (rather than gaining limited proficiency from Mandate).
- Previous judgment reworked into Zeal.
- Guided Fury now grants 1 free use of guiding bolt per short rest.
- Conferral of Conflagoration raised to 3d4.
- Added Executioner upgrade.
Potionsmith
- Removed Extra Zest
- Added Secrets of Acid
- Added Reactive Reagents
- Added Perfect Reaction
Thundersmith
- Shrapnel Round buffed slightly but made limited use.
- Added Autolock
- Added Incineration Rounds
- Added Dragon Burst
Spells
- Repelling Field removed.

Kickstarter PHB Class Subclasses (17 subclasses!)
Here's the post Chosen Many list of subclasses with a bunch of updates. This will go out to the Kickstarter tomorrow with the rest of the updates I'm pushing to it. I wouldn't recommend using anything from it till it goes out, but the linked document will update as I finish compiling the playtest updates into them (by end of day tomorrow it should be the alpha playtest versions... most of the updates are already made, just some left):

Crafting
This doesn't have a huge update right now, but does have the problem I've been wrestling with a bit resolved. I'm altering Alchemy to have more modifiers that are more useable, but removing exotic reagents from the default to design (moving them to an appendix). I was making a model where exotic ingredients were more heavily used by herbalism, but after a few tries, I just found that it wasn't really in the spirit of the system anymore - to make it worked it required too many non-generic ingredients and become an inventory management nightmare. It's an appealing idea, but ultimately impractical and undermined the idea of letting the players drive as much of the system as reasonable possible.
Herbalism have been simplified to a gathering tool and a way to make some of the simpler potions (as the PHB says Herbalism can make healing potions, and far be from me to make it a liar!)

I'd planned to have a standalone public update for Alchemy today, but running a bit behind on that. I have a lot of Runecrafting ready, I just need to transcribe it, so Alchemy 2.0 and Runecrafting 0.8 will probably be the next update.
Other Updates
- There's been some progress on the design layout for the kickstarter. I think I'll be able so hare it fairly soon! Been a lot of fiddling, but I think it'll be cool.
- I posted my Generic Elemental Spells over on reddit; also got a ton of grammar fixes and things. The Generic Elemental Spells have had dozens of little corrections. These will be pushed to the Foundry version. A reddit user also made a Fantasy Grounds version of them! You can check out the post there for the latest PDF, FoundryVTT version, or now Fantasy Ground version for it! As for just the PDF... Direct PDF link
- The latest updates will be merged to the Casting Compendium this week; the Casting Compendium will get an update with feedback and playtesting updates to it as well as some new entries. There is a Foundry module coming for it, but probably not till next week at the earliest.
...that's all I remember, but I should have been asleep awhile ago, so I might be forgetting things. Tons of things are happening, I'll do my best to make sure I'm updating you on all of them.
