I mean we can all agree that Killua is probably the most open of the family and willingly shows emotions and caring for the others without a hidden agenda. not to say the family doesn't care for each other just that Killua openly does it

2018-11-29 21:13:58 +0000 UTCDuring Silva's dialogue, he's referring to Alluka, or more importantly Nanika, with the pronoun あれ, which is neither male or female, its referring to inanimate objects. So Silva and probably the mother (forget her name) don't even think of her as human, just an object. Also, we technically don't even know Alluka's biological gender. She obviously identifies as a female, because of how much Killua cares for her, he wouldn't counter her on that. But Togashi hasn't given anything regarding her biologically, and it could be that Illumi, Silva, and everyone in the Zoldyck family tries to take their children, male or female, and repress their sexuality so much that they simply refer to everyone with male suffixes. Idk, that's one theory that's out there, because of the hatred the rest of the family has towards Alluka.

2018-11-29 19:45:21 +0000 UTCtechnically its a boy but she sees herself as a girl in the episode Miluki said "my two brothers" talking about alluka and kalluto Killua respects her (and only him) so he addresses her as "she" but the other family members dont care and since they know about the danger she poses they call her "it" which in japanese as far as i know is the same word to address male persons. Thats often an argument used to say she is actually a girl but the scene with milluki basically disproves this
