Dev Build Visuals (Nice to know)

Hi!

I forgot to mention that there were changes to the Settings menu and there's now separate quality settings for rendering and lighting.

In order to get the designed visuals I would suggest checking that both those are on Standard mode, especially the Lighting.

Have you checked out Godot 4.3? It comes with some cool performance boosts you can use for the demo, plus it supports premultiplied alpha blending. I'll be writing my performance review later. I'll be testing on a potato GPU, a Steam deck, and a dedicated one. Can we have the option to change the screen resolution?

I5-12400F RTX 3060 Ti Ran pretty well , never dropped under 110 and in forested areas climbed up to 170 without issues. I was able to get stuck by climbing into a pipe at the crossroads due to a transparency issue on one of the pipe pieces.

Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 2070 Both settings on Standard i had between 67 and 130 FPS depending on the Area. Capping it on 60 worked pretty well for me and was stable. The new little Building with the cellar has a collision issue on the inner Doorframe when you walk from the cellar upwards. You get stuck and need to jump in order to get out. I like the new Maps. For me they are still pretty small but i think that will change once we have proper Map Transations. Overall a pretty good Job. Can't wait to test it with AI.

1080p with a 1080ti card and a decent CPU. Frames were fine, but there were some frame rate hitches, probably when loot assets were being loaded in as I moved across the map. SCUM does the same sometimes when there is a lot of loot in the area. Indoors areas seemed a lot darker, requiring the flashlight. Northern Lights seemed to be missing. Rain looked a bit spotty. You've still got that plank standing on its edge in the Generalist shop that you can't walk past. I suggest that any object up to 8 inches high be able to walk across. Liked the increase in entropy across the map.

perf for me is pretty ok, I'm getting 300-400 fps on 1440p and max settings on 38.5k G3d gpu
