QUESTION!
Added 2024-10-28 20:29:29 +0000 UTCHope you all are well :) Thank you to the new subscribers! I am planning on uploading the Skinwalker Social Club instrumentals here for your listening pleasure. What I am wondering is this: should I include beat cuts? Without vocals, beat cuts can sound kind of strange. Like typically the only reason they exist is to accentuate the vocals. But if I were to simply mute the vocals, and present the instrumentals exactly as they are on the album, it would include beat cuts. So would you guys prefer instrumentals with the beat cuts included (meaning there will be moments of pure silence) or without the beat cuts? Sound off in the comments! Love ya <3

please leave the beats uncircumsized

2024-10-29 20:00:02 +0000 UTCI think ultimately the beat cuts are a part of the composition and hearing the composition in its entirety is pretty sick. Not having beat cuts would be really bad ass, but I think ultimately keeping them in keeps the song truer to the original intended vision of the song.

2024-10-28 21:24:54 +0000 UTCI don't know how feasible it is, but beat cuts should stay while also adding maybe some light ambiance in those gaps so it isn't dead silence. It works when there's vocals, but without vocals it would let us jam with the song without those interruptions. I actually listen to the instrumentals often while I do work where vocals might distract me, and I thought "if there was some light part of the instrumental in this gap, it would feel less empty"

2024-10-28 20:46:45 +0000 UTCAs important as beat cuts can be, I feel it would be best to go without them for the release of the instrumentals. It would make for better casual listening to not have moments of silence interspersed. I can already say that I'm intent on using the Decomposed versions as background tunes for when I'm painting

2024-10-28 20:32:57 +0000 UTCI like the beat cuts in instrumentals because 1. Helps when just singing along 2. It keeps the same rhythm as the original track, not as jarring Also thank you for bringing the instrumentals I really love being able to sing on them and sometimes have just instrumentals on while voice chatting with people!

2024-10-28 20:32:08 +0000 UTCWould it be possible to do with and without beat cuts? If thatβs too much work I think with the beat cuts would be cool!

2024-10-28 20:31:28 +0000 UTCi say have the best cuts in, gives u less work overall and it might make the overall beat sound funny if thereβs random cuts inbetween it to fill time, i say let it go as is
