Winwin is a member of wayv! Sorry, I should have provided some context... He’s been absent from a lot of their comebacks because he's been filming a drama in China! I can't remember the name but apparently it's good. He was originally apart of nct 127 around when the group was still being formed, but SMs sort of known for hiding him in the basement *cough* mistreatment *cough*... He gives me major Jo vibes from &team which is why I wanted to mention him!

If you want to get more into NCT I recommend watching fan made compilations of funny moments/what happened in different eras on youtube!! (especially Dreamie's! They’re funny as hell and one of my ults✨) Thats how I learnt who's who and it's a bit more entertaining than watching a long guide video (still useful! but i know absorbing all that info at once can cause a headache😵💫) I also recommend listening to WayV's popping love era stuff! Winwin is involved during that era so you'll get to see him too. Unfortunately they are VERY underrated but SO talented!

He’s so good that SM has him in 4 groups at once 😂 the members in the NCT U song were all in the other videos to that’s why some looked familiar. Each group def have better songs. And the one member you pointed out most who was in NCT U and WayV was Ten, I recommend to listen to his solo songs especially birthday and night walker. They have done songs under NCT 2018, NCT 2020, NCT 2023 where they do songs with all 23 members. WayV doesn’t have NCT in the name due to conflicts between china and Korea, and they are the Chinese unit (ten isn’t even Chinese he just speaks 5 languages) NCT is the group as a whole think of the different groups as sub units. Multiple members are in more than one group. I’m am sorry but I now insist you do more NCT lol

2025-02-05 00:24:20 +0000 UTCNCT (Neo Culture Technology) is my ult group along with Ateez and maybe have the most unique sound in kpop like no two songs sound alike. It's almost a running gag in the fandom that the songs are very "neo" meaning new and experimental so even songs that sound strange you get used to once you've been in the fandom long enough. NCT 127 and Dream debuted in 2016 (dreamies were like 14) and have two members Mark and Haechan that are in both units so they're basically doing 4 comebacks a year. WayV debuted in 2018 as primarily a chinese language unit but a lot of their popular songs are in english (Love Talk being the most famous one), Wish debuted in 2024 (also has predominantly Japanese members). NCT U (also debuted 2016) is super interesting because its not a fixed unit: the members from the other fixed units switch in and out depending on the concept of the song so no NCTU song will have the same lineup (there are only a couple of exceptions). There's also NCT DJJ like you noted and they're somewhat new too (they have DOyoung, JAEhyun & JUNGwoo) who are also in NCT127 Some recs to get you into the NEO-ness of the units (i'm only including 127, dream, WayV and U because Wish is still a baby group). NCT127: Sticker, 2 baddies, Regular, Time Lapse NCT dream: Hot Sauce, Hello Future, Dive Into You, Poison NCT U: 90s Love, Baby Don't Stop, OK, The BAT WayV: Phantom, Love Talk, Turn back Time, Take Off NCT DJJ: Perfume, Kiss, Can we go back (this song is so angst I LOVE IT) And finally the 127 tea: one of the main vocalists whose voice you liked in Walk was arrested in September 2024 for SA, so yeah he's now out of the group and good riddance. I'm sure you can read more about it but that is the gist.

2025-02-04 18:40:45 +0000 UTCNct units in debut order and members Special Note: Mark and Haechan are in both dream and 127.Also some members were apart of SM’s special group called Super M.NCT has a lot of foreign members from places such as America,Canada,Japan,China and Thailand Nct U - has everyone in every nct units all mixed and combined into songs there is no specific amount of people in whatever song the concepts are endless Nct 127- (8 members formerly 9 and 10 members) Seoul unit 127 is the longitude of Seoul they also have more of the older members in my opinion, this unit has more of the experimental sounds included in their music(Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung and Mark are also soloist) Nct Dream - (7 members) this unit was originally supposed to be the kids unit that had a graduation system, but after the oldest member, Mark of the unit graduated out and the the next oldest members were about to graduate out the company decided to abolish the graduation system, and Brought the oldest member back and made them a permanent 7 member group an earlier parts of discography had a more child like poppy sound now has a more mature sometimes still bright sound (where literal children when they debuted like they pretty much grew up in front of the cameras) Wayv- ( 6 members formerly 7, 7th members is now solo) so this unit is the more international primarily Chinese based unit this unit has no Korean members but they promote in both China in Korea. They also speak the most languages of all Nct units including even German.In my opinion wavy has a more matured sexy sound but now is taking a different direction. They recently got their first win on a music show last year. this unit has a Thai member named 10 he is SM Entertainment’s only Thai artist he is also a soloist Nct Wish- ( survival show group last nct unit was 7 members pre debut but debuted with 6) this is my personal favorite unit They are the Japanese unit and youngest in NCT they have a very youthful but not children like also the two youngest members are actually older than the age the dream members where when they debuted ( Nct Dream where all teenagers when they debut with the youngest Jisung being 14 the combined age of the group at debut was 15.6)
