2025-04-17 17:55:34 +0000 UTCBlack on Black is very much there for the performance to showcase the members of NCT for that year, and similarly with RESONANCE, which isn't really a song at all, more of a mash- up performance kinda thing to showcase the title tracks from NCT 2020 !! They only started to do NCT songs that actually sound like SONGS starting from Beautiful. HIGHLY recommend going through the all NCT year albums, even if you can't find the time to listen to the albums in their entierty, the MV's and Track videos are definitely worth it (also the resonance albums have some of my fav NCT songs of all time, they are a MUSTTT) <3

NCT U album is d best cos its a surprising unit every song u hear!!! N that is why I LOVE it...being an Nctzen!

2025-04-15 19:13:27 +0000 UTCAlso, I'm adding this here for context, but for the recording of the Neo City: Seoul concert, something strange started happening during the performance (around sticker). Their mics weren't working, and the camera started shifting at odd angles, but from what I learned it was apparently an issue because of the venue. The venue that they performed at is made mostly for orchestral performances, y'know where people are usually sitting down, so that's why the cameras angles were a bit off (they couldn't properly follow their movements), but it was never explained why the mics stopped working?? I figured I would add this here, just in case you decide to watch and get confused!

2025-04-15 18:52:41 +0000 UTCresonance is a funny one because it's actually a mash-up of FOUR songs: make a wish, 90s love, work it and raise the roof! the first 3 all got separate MVs but raise the roof was just a b-side so it was interesting for them to use it here. make a wish's couple song was From Home, but it wasn't used in the mash-up because it's a ballad and wouldn't mesh well, but i think you should definitely listen to it (or the rearranged version, which i think is better)! also jisung had a knee injury so he couldn't be in the group dances, so it's actually his voice being used for the 'resonance' part haha

2025-04-15 18:32:54 +0000 UTCBeautiful it's my favorite nct song, and Chenle gives main character vibes in the mv, I love how much center time he got And the Resonance video it's a mash-up of 4 nct u songs "Make a Wish" 1st verse (Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Xiaojun, Jaemin, Lucas and Shotaro) The chorus belongs to the bside Raise the Roof (Johnny, Kun, Chenle, Renjun, Jungwoo, Jisung, Yuta, Hendery and Taeil) The second verse is "90s Love" (Ten, Mark, Winwin, Jeno, YangYang, Haechan and Sungchan) And then the bridge of "Work It" (Jaemin, Ten, Yuta, Jisung, Hendery, Jungwoo and Johnny) And they put the bridge of "Make a Wish" as well in the end

2025-04-15 17:55:47 +0000 UTCI have lots of problems with SM but the biggest one is that they didn't bring the NCT nation concert to the US because all 19 of them (pre-wish) held a two day concert in Seoul and Japan and it was 3 hours of NCT-U stages along with unit specific stages AND we got to see XiaoHenYang do Black on Black. I would empty my bank account for that concert. Also you have to check out live stages for these songs and some of the other NCT U songs as well mainly Pado, The BAT, and Calling D
