Boom was supposed to be Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, and Jaemin’s last comeback (and subsequently the disbandment of NCT Dream) so a lot of the imagery of the MV has to do with that. You should definitely check both the closing songs from both EPs, because they’re the graduation songs for the members. It’s actually really hilarious to me the difference between Mark’s goodbye and the 00 line. The rest of the story of their journey is, to me, in the songs ‘Rainbow’ off of Hot Sauce (their reunion album) and ‘Graduation’, which was from the end of 2022, the year Jisung would have graduated Dream. I love these boys and their story sm, it feels like I grew up with them and so thank you for all this!!!!
