Patch 1.96 Mod Status - Updates and New Mods

So... the good news is not as much broke as I anticipated. The bad news is... I still have a lot of updates for the patch/pack.

Updated mods: Below are some updates to accommodate patch changes and new features from the pack (confidence, infants, gameplay, etc).
Compatible Mods: If a mod is not listed below, it should be compatible and fine to use with the most recent updated version of the game.
New Mods: I also have four new mods I felt useful for the patch/pack.
Reminders
****Remember to always clear your cache when updating my mods and please, please remember to update and install the updated general pie menus (Jan 20), shared library v2(March 17) and the updated mood pack (Jan 22) for the mods that require them. Same goes for the custom schools tuning (March 17). Thanks!****

Public
- Best Hug Ever Unlocked - Now all sims can do this with their children as long as they don't have a negative relationship
- Confidence Tweaks - Confidence in children will be less easy to gain or lose
- Less Infant Hovering - Spend a little less time checking and watching infants
Early Access (Public: March 31)
- Automatic Characteristic Preference - You can choose for either only unplayed or all Sims to automatically have dynamically assigned characteristics upon loading. Requires Shared Library.

2023-03-31 14:20:24 +0000 UTCHello, I’m having issues with healthcare redux. It says something is off with my sim then a popup asked did I want to go to my appointment now or later. I chose now but my sim will not go. Even when i use the phone to chose to go she still will not go to the appointment

You just have to join the server, link your patreon account to your discord (here's how https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Getting-Discord-access#h_01FEHWFEG74VEG6NV146DE93ST) and then go to the patron mod support because you are a patron. And it totally gives an option if your patreon account isn't linked. There's a channel called mod support; there's also one called patreon mod support. You cannot post in it. You can only create a thread. The instructions for how to do so include a photo and written instructions.

Sorry if this is bugging you...I was just trying to report the LE somehow. I have deleted that mod, if you want to see the exception file, I have it to send

2023-03-22 01:21:23 +0000 UTCI had the same issue for both dental and eyes. If you click on the sim, go to actions and then cheats and choose to reset the mod it seems to fix the issue.

2023-03-21 19:13:27 +0000 UTCHi I have a question. Before the patch I was able to get moodlets from not brushing my sims teeth but now she doesn’t get them. She also hasn’t been to an appointment for dental or eyes. But once I made a new family it always gave me the option to go to an appointment right when I load into the family. Is anyone else having this problem?

I just wanted to bring it to your attention since my sim technically died but it never took her out the game so didn’t know if that was a glitch 🫠 also didn’t know if it was something going on with tartosa

2023-03-20 23:10:14 +0000 UTCLove your mods! Thanks for updating! Wanted to let you know that for some reason whenever i travel to tartosa my sim has an plane crash emergency. It happened twice back to back. The first time she survived but had surgery. The second time she DIED but she didnt die. It never took her out the game. I was kind of happy but wanted to let you know in case its something that can be fixed :)

Read this post" because if you did read you would have seen the part where it has detailed instructions on what to do if your download is corrupted. In which case you would have already done it, wouldn't have posted on patreon, and would have made a thread in discord if you were still having problems after the extensive troubleshooting you had done after following the corrupted download steps. I know because others have done exactly as they were told and loaded their games successfully. So please don't waste my time by not doing exactly what I said to do. This is exactly why places like SAD and DP server are closed.

I hope you weren't hit by this wave of what looks to be mostly entitled rude new players coming in and not knowing how things work when it comes to updates and patches

They make the game so much more immersive and I really can't play without them (so I'm willing to wait for them to be updated). I hope you're not being harassed by anyone, because you work hard and you have a lot of mods to go through, and people should be understanding of that.
