Hii, I recently found your mods and I really want to download a few of them but it wont let me through the website nor the alternative link. I got the membership for the healthcare redux which was the main one I wanted, but Is there any other way I can download the mods?

I may have missed something somewhere, but I was just wondering for Divergent mods, the autism and ADHD are greyed out when I got to give my sims a disorder or condition. Is that a me problem or did I download it wrong or is it just not available?

I've figured out what the problem is. With toddlers and infants, basic caregivers (using the adopt as caregiver interaction) cannot take them to get them evaluated. They have to actually be the toddler or infant's parent. I was able to get them diagnosed after adopting them officially (under the change relationship interaction) .

You only need one copy in your entire mods folder, so where a mod already has the files included remove them. What I did was move them out of the specific folder of the mod and put them in its own folder. It helps me track it easier.

Hey, some of your mods have shared tunning already installed in them, therefore when the better exception report comes up, it's saying that I have duplicate mods based on the shared tunning .. for example, in education overhaul. you have shared tunning... but then when you also tell us to download shared tunning separately, I'm confused

Having an issue in Divergent Sims where I can't get my toddler or infant Sims an initial appointment. It's greyed out, but when I hover over it, it doesn't say they're not eligible like if they were neurotypical. I assigned the delays and conditions myself using the cheats in actions. Also, my young adult Sim was never assigned a self esteem trait when the mod loaded, only my child Sim. I was able to assign depression to my adult Sim and get it diagnosed though.

No. There has to be SOME level of accountability on the side of the player. Clearly it’s not reading the requirements. Duplicates announce themselves by asking to be replaced. If someone can’t be bothered to say no then again that’s on them. There’s clearly no perfect or singular solution so this is the next best one. Duplicates are safer than missing requirements.

Hi- I've noticed that the general pie menus are included in the folders of several mods- ie., education overhaul, golden years. etc. I do worry about duplicates and having duplicates cause problems.I understand wanting to include them in folders where they are required since you can't seem to convince people to read directions, but can you also flag in some way the mods that are including it (not just that it is required, but is included in the files)- or are accidental duplicates of the pie menus not harmful? I can make notes to myself on my spreadsheet, but maybe other people have this issue too.

I've done that and still have issues. If i add the healthcare redux mod in, my sims cannot interact with other sims at all. Only this mod is causing me trouble and yes i've updated everything, tried with only her mod, and reset everything there is to reset. it's just not working for some ppl, no shade to the creator but some of us just cant use this one

it works for me. Have you tried removing all your mods and just test hers? You are possibly missing something or something is conflicting with the mod. I would say test hers and xml injector. Move your mods folder to desktop and make sure you have ALL of the required files for that mod.

For real. I think sometimes people forget Modders have lives outside of modding because even if they do have a patreon where they have membership access before they make the mod free they will more often than not have a job that is their main source of income or are going to college as well. They may have a family they need to look after.

Patreon is not a place to troubleshoot. The best thing people who are having issues can do is to go through her troubleshooting guide at the top of the June 22nd post. OR take their issue to a general Discord server, OR remove the mod from their game. It's unhelpful to come and simply say on a creator's Patreon that their mod is broken. I think that is the general point. Hence why comments are typically off on Patreon posts.

I was guilty of that! Only just started playing sims the past month properly and this creator is probably why. Had never used mods before. Completely transformed the game for me. She is amazing! Would be good to see people give positive feedback as well, rather than just complain.

It can be a huge issue but not everyone’s issue. We’re all just trying to play a game we love with no foul or harm intended. Doesn’t make people less than or deserving of being berated. I get it. I agree with your sentiment but I believe there is a very real issue with players downloading mods and not fully reading the instructions, how the mod works or conflicts. It’s in Reddit, on here, Discord, etc. Many large modders and creators have spoken on this, and typically those players come with an accusatory or entitled tone. They also do no troubleshooting on their own to even indicate that the issue is related to the mod and not their own error, system or compilation of mods. It has increased with EAs updates being more frequent. People, not all but many, come across as very rude and demanding. We are going to lose our best creators if we support this kind of behavior in the community. My family plays a variety of games, many of which have very large modding communities and the attitude of simmers are by far the worse, I have no idea why. I just hope we aren’t hung out let to dry when the creators have enough. I think we can all agree on grace and patience all around.

Well let’s not shame those who are having trouble. We are all playing different games with different mods. It’s not a lack of comprehension if it isn’t working or an attack on the creator. It’s just what it is. If she can help good if it’s an us problem then we’ll work it out. We’re just all trying to play a game we love. ❤️ All her mods don’t work for me I use the ones I can and enjoy what she puts up and speak up when I can. Give us some grace as well. hey deep indigo I have a suggestion for you if you'll do it. You ignored my message or didn't see it so maybe posting here will be better. Can you help make the sims accessible. Someone tried to but then EA switched to the EA app. So I would be willing to work on it. If you don't know screen readers, I can point you to some that will help you like narrator or NVDA. I'm a fully blind player and I would be more than willing to test for you. I know there are a lot of things that need to become accessible, but there is a script maybe you could work off of? Let me know if you're interested and I can send you the script.

i downloaded it a couple of days ago with no issue. Click on the link under mod index and status, and then download where it says 'here'. You also need the general pie menu I believe.

Not sure if it’s me yet and i might be missing pie menus but my sim can’t go back to the doctor after a getting the follow up popup about concerning diseases. Also I’m not sure if it’s intended or not or if I someone just missed reading it but I’ve found occults can’t go to the doctors either and don’t really develop complications. Makes sense in a way though.

Hi. Dyslexia’s features are enumerated on the mod description page so you can see how it affects your sim. As for the Uni career tones if they raise something that is affected by dyslexia then that specific skill would be harder to learn but the mod doesn’t affect Uni grades.

Hi there, new to your mods and loving them! I have a dyslexic sim in university and neither active listening nor taking notes works to bring her grades up, she always gets the "bare minimum" feedback. Is her dyslexia responsible for this? (it certainly makes sense IRL). The only options open to her are talk therapy and speech therapy and I haven't seen either really make a difference for her. I guess I'm wondering if this is a feature of the mod that I haven't figured out how to use properly or if I maybe have a mod issue somewhere in my folder. Currently using the public version of Divergent Sims as I've just now subscribed. Thanks <3

Hello. It's not for me or anyone else who tested it so you need to make sure all of your mods including mine are updated to the correct versions, clear your cache, and refer to each mod's installation instructions.

You are missing something or have something outdated. Go back to the mod, reread the instructions and its requirements, and go get it. You'd know that Healthcare Redux doesn't even use the Shared Library if you already had!

It hasn’t. You’re looking in the wrong place. Go to the mod index and start from there under EA Overhauls or Modular Gamplay Mods, etc.

You may! Both, actually. You wouldn't have noticed it if you don't use the Death Disabler addon but it needed an extra update. Both are now updated for the Death Disabler add on only. If you don't use it you don't need to reupdate but if you do use it, that file needs to be redownloaded. Thanks for asking!

She made it to where they can't be downloaded until she's finished updating them, so odds are, she's still working on it. Which is a shame 'cause I was just about to check and see if she'd updated those two lol. Oh well, I can wait a bit longer to update, I can imagine it's time-consuming work.

I don't think "fraudster" means what you think it means (I work in fraud) - this is not fraud OR scam, it's a modder making sure they aren't inundated with "your mod isn't working for this patch" messages. Pro tip: don't update your game until all mods are cleared.

This is the real answer. It took me a long time to include mods in my game because *I* wanted to make sure what *I* needed to do to maintain them. It's astounding EVERY SINGLE UPDATE OR PATCH how people pop up with my "game is broken" but they haven't even removed their mods or do a basic search in the tons of pages, forums and sources that tell them EXACTLY what to do. And the irony these folks have the worst attitudes of anyone you'll ever meet. Entitled comes to mind.

I'm confused. All of my mods are free so they don't cost money in the first place. If you sign up for patreon, that's a choice you make of your own free will so not sure how that counts as extortion. If you've read the post, which is available to anyone without needing to be a patron, then you should understand that the mods in fact, do exist, but have been made unavailable so as not to mess up your game while they're being updated after the mod breaking patch. Not sure how spelling out exactly what's going on and the plan to have them available after they've been cleared or updated constitutes as fraud or extortion, but perhaps we have different definitions of the words.

if you read her post before commenting you will see that she has disabled her mods until she is able to update them. I use her mods in my game. She does good work. Moders have other jobs ,etc and are doing their best to update their content to accommodate EAs latest huge update

a.deep.indigo said they were removing them all until they were updated. if we can't find it (and i haven't gotten an email notification about the update) then it's not updated yet. these are just the phases that they will be checking them in and i imagine it's going to take a while since they have so many (absoultely AMAZING) mods to check through :)

FWIW Health Care Redux was still working for me last night after the game update. ETA: Wow, I just discovered the cheats menu for this mod (under Actions), and I made my Sim have a car wreck! Didn't even know that was a thing, since it's never happened to one of my Sims before. This mod is SO AWESOME! Thank you very much for all the work you put into it. It's rapidly becoming a necessary-for-gameplay mod to me.
