LURE Sketches
Added 2020-05-12 14:32:17 +0000 UTCContinuing the celebration of MerMay, I developed this other ArtWork... LURE.
For LURE the idea was to represent a Guy (on a pool) being surprised (and provoked) by the charms and seduction of a Mermen ...
A little romantic, a little funny and also a little naughty ...
I wanted to play with the surprise in the Guy's gaze, like someone who sees himself tremendously surprised (either by his luck with a handsome man seducing him, or by noticing a huge fish tail coming out of the water!) and also with a flirting look from the Mermen.
I originally thought about showing some of the image under the waters, but... then I ended up believing that it would be much more interesting to focus only on the action and situation from the boy's perspective.
Ah! It is worth mentioning that, in this style, much of my sketch is transformed during the drawing of the final lines.
