It's already May, and that means it's MerMay, the month of the mermen!
And to celebrate this I had to at least make an art about it.
I've been going through a lot of struggles lately (the last few months), including depression. But I'm doing what I can to recover and stay well.
I tried to make a colorful and happy art (in an old style of mine) trying to inspire us all to feel good...
In this scene, one of the mermen is blowing a Pu (a wind instrument made from a shell), which according to Hawaiian tradition, the blowing of the pu is a great way to announce a new beginning!
So let's start this month this way!

Hello! It’s been a while ahhahahah! I think this piece is AS GORGEOUS as always! I don’t recall you using this ‘lineless’ style in the recent past, maybe I have just forgotten, BUT what I can say is that this style gives a certain boldness to your artwork with the colors yet still retain such a harmonious ambience to it! It’s positively breathtaking!
