I just realised that it has been exactly two years since I started Fanbox this month.

Two years ago in July, I was planning to update for a few months and then give up, but before I knew it, I had been doing it for two years. I'm a little surprised myself!

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me for the past two years!

However, there is a possibility that I will temporarily suspend updates for the next two years.

Due to real-life things, I won’t be able to secure enough time in August and September to create multiple new drawings.

So, I would like to inform you in advance.

Also, as someone who just started drawing, the current drawing environment might be worse than ever. All artists are affected by AI and pirate sites, and it’s almost impossible for individual artists to fight back on their own.

I am not as well-known as some professional artists, so I did not expect to face such issues. However, I recently discovered to my shock that some of my past works had been uploaded to a pirated site, which left me feeling deeply frustrated.

Initially, I considered taking action, but I heard that other artists facing the same issue were mocked by the site administrators when they requested the removal of their works and even had their personal information collected, so I could not take that risk.

Since I don’t have many followers, I already know who is involved in the pirated activities. If you are reading this, I would like you to voluntarily delete the uploaded content. Of course, the same goes for other artists’ works. Additionally, please be aware that sharing cookies on such sites is a highly dangerous act.

Artists are already exhausting a great deal of effort to maintain updates, and now they must allocate additional effort to address harassment from AI and pirated sites, which is no longer sustainable. I hope you understand.

At fitst, I wanted more people to enjoy my works casually, so I did not set a time limit for two years.

However, to prevent similar low-cost pirate activities from continuing, I have to add a new plan and include old works that have been up for more than three weeks in that plan. Please subscribe to this plan as needed.

If pirate activities persist, I will take more stringent measures and may consider adding some users to the blacklist.
