June Update 2

Hey hey, its update time! I just completed a bit of an ambitious mod project and am also really happy with the poses and character that I am working on, so I am eager to get going with this preview!

Pose Previews

The next pose set will belong to my favorite theme, Standing Model Poses! I was originally going to commit to the theme of emotive fighter poses, but then I recalled that the subject did particularly poorly in a past poll, so I changed course. I will instead include it on a poll for the July 10th pose pack, where you will be able to vote on one of many Emotive themes.

Here are a few of the references that I took inspiration from for Standing Model 11. A sample of the completed poses can be found at the top of this post. According to past likes and visitor numbers, standing model is not only my fav, it is also the most favored of all my poses by this community at large, so I will see you all on the 25th for release!

Character Preview

A candidate for the next character of the month has taken form. I think I will call her.. Aurelia.

Aurelia turned out to be a very fitting model for the poster of my latest mod, and will be equally well suited to my next two mods, one of which will likely draw from greco-roman themes.

Modding News

EDIT: my latest project is taking shape and will soon be ready for release:

Yes, my war on HS2's horrible default breast shape continues. I cant imagine releasing a top without a custom sculpt anymore! This one still has some things under the hood that need ironing out but the mod will likely be ready by the 29th or 30th.

OK I have released two new mods since our last meeting and have begun work on two others. Here is the recap:

After our last meeting, I got to work on a pair of classic platform pumps. The new pumps have a beautiful streamlined shape and a realistic leather texture. The heels are meant to accentuate your honey's posture without drawing too much attention to themselves. For Fashionistas, I have prepared two glittery versions to pair with items like my slip dress.

The Classic Platform Pumps will be going public on July 11th.

I learned a new method for modelling complex shapes in blender in order to pull off the platform pumps, and I saw it as an opportunity to attempt one of the other items on my reference board:

The Aurora couture is a bit of a departure from my usual lineup and is my first ballroom-type dress. The skirt portion uses a combination of vanilla illusion skirt physics and cloth simulation. This beautiful piece lends really well to color customization, as you can see in the pose preview above!

Currently, because of the dress part being multi-layered, it not great for seated poses. I actually have an idea to improve the skirt further so that it does not get influenced so much by the legs, while still avoiding clipping. This should, in theory allow for sitting poses in a dress like this. It will take a bunch of testing. I will patch it in at a later date if I manage to get it working.

Up Next: I am working on a 1-piece lace lingerie, and after that I hope to make something greco-roman themed as I mentioned earlier. Think of white linens with gold adornments.
