The next reg is usually announced about a month before it starts, "Reg I" will hopefully be double restricteds, but we'll have to wait and see

2025-01-28 11:40:17 +0000 UTCThe current regulation set for G is supposed to go through April 30th. Do we know what the next regulation set will be or when that information is typically released? Milwaukee regional is early May and it would be nice to know how to even consider starting to prepare in advance for a novice competitor.

2025-01-16 07:38:42 +0000 UTCI think the big issue with investing in Koraidon's bulk to much is that its still quad weak to fairy which makes it rely on tera too much. (ik terapagos but atleast theres dmg bonus and spread) With fairy pokemon being so strong cough*Fluttermane* you're almost always gonna see em. Another jab at Koraidon is that he loses to his best match up terapagos (imo) because most run earth power if they need spread and all types that resist fairy are weak to ground

2025-01-16 04:19:10 +0000 UTCI think koraidon’s issue is mainly it feels people are using it wrong — there’s no consideration into its bulk, coverage moves on 99% of teams and slapping clamulet onto it just because it’s physical seems like it’s only hurting it when it could really use a more valuable item

I'm a really big fan of the resource Statcrusher, which can isolate data from top ladder, best of 3 play, and differentiate between restricted and non-restricted Mons. Being able to look at stat benchmarks for a lot of pieces over time feels like it's great insight into where teambuilding is headed as the format progresses. Why not include a look into information like this on top of tournament performances?
