2025-05-07 13:39:26 +0000 UTC19 speed Lunala would put it just faster than no speed investment primals, not 100% sure if thats what Naoto went for, but could be why. Another interesting part to that is that his Groudon had no speed, so when Lunala would either outspeed, or underspeed a pokemon it was likely that Groudon would have the same speed interaction. Also the team still had tailwind, so going 0 could make it over reliant on one mode.

I'm tempted to believe it was just Naoto not wanting to grind for double 0, but his Lunala still ran Modest in terms of nature AND he had a 17 Defense IV Lonely Stakataka + 0 Speed (which is absolutely optimal for VGC) so that's probably not the case?
