2025-11-11 03:21:11 +0000 UTCThanks Wolfe! I'm a brand new baby at vgc and I needed to hear this. Question, in the "play tons of games" advice. Is it better to play the same rental team over and over. Or mix it up. Obviously I think the latter is likely more fun, but due to all the variables the former seems like you'd learn the game better.

2025-10-15 05:56:21 +0000 UTCI'm new to VGC, but I've got a lot of experience competing and teaching competitive speech and debate. It's honestly incredible how much of this advice is so similar to what I tell my own students, but I never realized it until I watched this and heard you say it. Gotta say, it's made me excited to actually play VGC.

2025-09-22 18:55:10 +0000 UTCFor someone who played several generations ago (I was playing pretty heavily back during gen 6 and early gen 7) would this still apply if I'm getting back into it? I know I need to get a feel for all the new mons, but was curious if you had any tips for derustin,g so to speak. Also any opinions on showdown vs cart games?
