Added 2023-06-04 15:47:19 +0000 UTC100 patrons! It seemed like such a distant milestone at the beginning, but here we are, reaching it. Maybe most of you don't know, but when I started modeling, I used an Acer Helios 300 laptop with a GTX 1060. I spent the first three months struggling to create models and scenes. At that time, I needed to render each scene at least twice because the graphics card had limited memory and couldn't fit all the models at once. So, I had to put everything together in Photoshop afterward, generating a slow and exhausting workflow. However, my goal was clear (and still is): to deliver a game that I'm proud of, one that surprises the players and allows me to make a living from it. That's why last December I made the most expensive purchase of my life, building the PC I currently work on for game development and that I'll be paying installments for until the end of the year. At that time, with no release date for the demo and an uncertain future since it was my first experience with 3D (excluding my AutoCAD class in university ten years ago) and game development, it was a risky gamble. But it proved to be extremely useful and essential in delivering the visual quality that many have praised. One thing is certain, though: I owe this motivation and confidence in the future to all of you who support the project's development, regardless of the amount. It's this contribution that helps me pay for the PC and will, in the not-so-distant future, help me pay other people to assist me in the development of "Growing Thing's Up" because we still have so much more to come. To celebrate this milestone, starting this month, illustrated stories about the characters' pasts will be released. There will be two stories per month, each divided into two parts, which will be published weekly here! The first part of the first story will be available to everyone. From the second part onwards, only Founder-level patrons and above will have access. I believe this content will help you get to know the characters better while the game is being developed!
