Reconnected Update #1

Wanted to give an update on this project because I said it would release at the end of the month and... well here we are.

I didn’t trash it. I ran into a problem, realized I need to rewrite it and had to put it aside to focus on my main project. I'm getting back to it now and wanted to tell you where I'm at. As well as give a little teaser image.
I've made the UI. It might need some polishing. It's never actually done. The story takes place in 3 different years so it has to have 3 different phone layouts that match the era. I looked at a phone the player would have had at the time and matched it the layout and esthetic as best I could. I have a working messaging system that can handle carrying out the scripted conversation and going down different paths. As well as made functioning buttons to open apps, take you to the home screen, etc. As you can see in the teaser in place of a keyboard you have a few options for your next text. At key points in the conversation you'll get different options that send you down different paths all leading to 3-4 different endings. With the message system done its pretty much as simple as telling it what to say when but there's still a few other "apps" I wanted to have coded. Mainly a fake Instagram app with very limited functionality since the characters "reconnect" when you see on instagram they've put on some pounds since you saw them last. So that and the rewrite is what I have to do. Beyond that is organize and polish. If nothing else arises it'll likely be done in 2 weeks or so. It'll be for same on here or available for XXL members (speaking of which im making an QOL update for TAD It'll release about the same time)
