Welcome to the next edition of digital dialects, where I talk with Lily Alexandre about video essays (of course), gender (duh), and Marxism (woo!)!!!! Such an interesting conversation, I'm excited to share it :)

Only gotten to listen to a little bit so far, but SO excited to hear Lily on here, she’s one of my faves. Two people I thought of because they just put out videos recently are Swolesome and Meeka le Fay. Meeka’s videos are newer, but for me they’re some of the most impactful I’ve seen, and it could be super interesting to talk to someone who’s (I think) a lot younger and newer to this and who’s currently in academia.

I know most of your discussion topics tend to be about queerness, videos, writing, but I was wondering if you might consider diving into a conversation with a musician you know. It could be interesting to hear your thoughts on music and that side of your creative process!
