I'm in the process of moving to NYC but once I get settled I'll be in full grind mode. Sorry for any delays.
Anyways does anyone have any leads on apartments in NYC, landlords don't really think YouTube is a job so I'm kinda cooked.

2024-09-01 03:05:11 +0000 UTCNYC apartments are TOUGH, I recently did a search here last year and learned a lot and am currently based here if you need any tips! Biggest thing-if you have a roommate it is easier-but the most affordable burough right now is Queens. If you say "media" or "content creator" or 'company manager" it might help with people taking your job seriously more. Street easy is a good site a lot of folks use-but its good to visit in person if you can since some places are much smaller in person. If you can afford a brooker-that might help too! feel free to dm if I can do anything to help!

2024-09-01 01:14:29 +0000 UTCthis may be too much overhead, especially on short notice, but i have heard some creators create an LLC, that LLC collects payments from Youtube/Patreon/etc., and then they pay themselves a salary. lets you have more normal-looking W-2 and pay stubs.
