2024-11-27 20:54:52 +0000 UTCfrom my experience theres definitely an element of yk dopamine shortage that makes me listen to yt videos, but at the same time videos like yours or Big Joels can get me out of it? something like easy to consume repetitive content only creates the desire for more until im scrolling through twitter completely unable to do anything else, but for example after listening to your video on gender ideology i read the anne fausto-sterling book you quoted and gender without identity, which contributed to my own studies. theyre certainly addressing that need and if i didnt have that need i wouldnt even look at youtube, but theyre useful as a stepping stone back into study/"hard things'
