Town Hall - Saturday December 14th 4pm EST

I'm hosting the next Town Hall December 14th at 4pm Eastern Time.

Since there was such division on whether or not to talk about the election, I'm going to split the Town Hall into two sections.

The first half (about ~1hour), we'll have a shared space to discuss how we feel about the upcoming administration, practical strategies from your community on how we can stay strong, and general venting.

The second half, I'm just gonna open the floor to a general Q&A. You can direct questions to me or initiate a small discussion with the audience. Questions can be about anything, heavy or light, content-related, not content related, etc.

So, if you don't care to discuss the election, feel free to show up around 5pm EST.

The Town Hall is still an experiment, so bare with me as I figure it out!

Please provide any feedback, thoughts, or things you would want to see brought up given the topic. Excited to speak with you all again!

Agreed! I am a terrible planner, but despite the exaggeration of that trait I make, I am a habitually very punctual person for the habitual appointments I feel a strong expectation for ensuring I am helping get started on time

Looking forward to another great time discussing the world in general, but zeroing in on the political situation we're all getting, that I am pretty confident, none of us voted for. As potential preparatory discussion material, have you Alex, or any of the patreon community read the graphic novel series Transmetropolitan? I keep meaning to take it out of whatever long box I stored it in, and re-reading it. In a similar theme, there are also the 2 Parable books by Octavia Butler that have some good insights about the scary times ahead

Just want to say thanks again for the proactive notice. Makes it easier to work into our schedules (:
