I'd be interested in any thoughts from both of you on the recent erasure (among many other similar instances) of black trans individuals from the history of Stonewall on its official site, and of trans individuals of color in general from a lot of official US sites/resources. For example, if a politician were to appear at a protest or if an artist endorses a specific movement publicly. When does that help? How could it help more? When does it hurt? And do these figures have a place in revolutionary movements? P.S. If you have any recommendations for yours, or anyone else's video to watch on the subject or a book to read I'd love to learn more.
