Yeah so here’s the thing, that’s been something I have been dwelling upon because technically as you put it, he has the same genes etc, he’s from a parallel world 😅

2023-09-22 08:06:56 +0000 UTCSince Wish Hook is Alice's father and he's genetically identical to Original Hook, that kind of makes Original Hook Alice's uncle, and Emma her aunt by marriage. Which means that Emma's niece and Regina's niece are in love with each other.

2023-09-22 07:42:19 +0000 UTCI love the relationships between characters this season. (I mean, I always do and nothing will ever beat the relationships between the OG cast, but still...) And one of my favourites is honestly Weaver&Rogers/Hook&Rumple. For so long they HATED each other, but in this season they're basically best friends, they've had their issues of course, but they both just wanna help each other and it's really adorable. Of course, this is Wish Hook and all, but he has that same history with him. It weirdly reminds me of Emma and Regina and Henry. Because of the relationship they both have with Alice/Tilly. I just love it. But then we also have Regina and Zelena who are clearly so much closer. Like, they were already close by the end of S6 and all, but look at them now! And Hook and Regina too. (I am not ashamed to admit that I kinda ship Regina and Wish Hook... Oops...) They just really come off as partners this season. I mean, they spent about 8-10ish years together (Idk how long it was before Lucy was born...) so of course they're pretty close and there's a lot of trust there and friendship too. And with how quick he was to step in when Zelena tried to tell Regina not to cast the curse and remind her that she'd do the same for Robyn and that he'd do it for Alice. I love that parent solidarity between the three of them. (Plus Henry and Ella, like when Hook gave her the elephant. But it's obviously a bit different with them because they're the "kids" of the group.) And that reveal of Alice and Robyn as well! I love them! They make me very happy... But I think one of my favourite things is just the group dynamic that we mostly see in the "Enchanted Forest" (I can't remember the name of the Realm they're in...) They all just come off as this family and team and it's really cute. All of them working together and hanging out, and making plans and doing all this stuff. And Rumple... Yeah... As you learned, that was not Wish Rumple, that was our Rumple. So he's clearly doing very well at that point in time...
