The TVD cast looked so good in this episode specially the dashing Salvatore bros 😍 Also I have to say Elena keeps saying stefan can't / won't go to these parties without me/why am I not in the loop today, everyone's avoiding me etc etc she is so irritating at times urghh

I was also pleased they didn't make the second witch an actual villain; she came through in the end, big time. I appreciate this series' handling of witches and witchcraft. I think the writers have been making some very interesting choices with them. Ships....I'm in the minority as I am FULLY off of any Stelena ship and have always been, from my very first watch of the very first episode. I never felt it. On my second re-watch, because Elena annoys me even more 😂 I don't ship her with anyone. I am far more invested and interested in the characters around Elena rather than the star herself. A Bonnie/Jeremy ship would be interesting, as they looked rather cute walking off together. At this point, I want *both* of those characters to find love and happiness, TBH! If that's with each other, cool. Okay, I'll join you on the Beremy ship. This series eventually produces my two favorite ships, but that is in future and I won't hint as to who they are, lol. And how about Caroline, eh?!? Growing confidence, strength, and focus, she is becoming quite the woman. I loved both the scene in which we the audience realized she had tricked Katherine, and her in the room protecting Matt and at the end, protecting Tyler, too. Yes, Tyler is still a dick-ish character -- may we never forget his awfulness with Vicki in the woods -- but as he enters this new and potentially terrible phase in his life, he is looking a lot more vulnerable, sympathetic, and interesting. Looking forward to future episodes in this journey with you!
